Saint Ambrose

       St. Ambrose was a successful lawyer prior ro becoming a bishop. He was one of the four original Doctors of the Catholic Church. He played an important role in the conversion of St. Augustine. St. Ambrose is the patron saint of: Milan, bee keepers, beggars, and learning. His feast day, December 7, is celebrated on the date of his ordination. We are blessed to have this wonderful saint watching over St. Ambrose School and our entire parish community.
