My name is Rita Naviello, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of St. Ambrose School. I am a certified administrator with over 20 years of experience as an educational leader, mentor, district committee member, and workshop developer, and it is my privilege to continue on this educational journey with you and our children.
My educational philosophy is rooted in educating the “whole child” academically, emotionally, & spiritually. Working with our dedicated teachers in a collective effort to acknowledge unique student interests, sustain supportive teacher-student relationships, provide clear expectations, goal setting, engaging and differentiated curriculum, and open lines of communication is essential to our children as they set out to achieve their goals. I would like to thank all of our parents who have entrusted our enthusiastic and devoted teachers to guide their children to greatness.
Our mission is to cultivate confident and reflective life-long learners, whose personal goals and achievements are rooted in a foundation of Catholic doctrine, social self-awareness, and engaging academic experiences. The students of St. Ambrose are inspired to be dynamic members of our community, supporting each other while embracing the challenges of today with a positive and assured mindset. I ask that we always consider the mission of St. Ambrose as the foundation of what drives our collaborative efforts.
I look forward to a partnership with you, and anticipate your support in ensuring that our mission is reflected in our children’s words and actions. We ask that you assist our children in adhering to the handbook policies which include attendance, dress code, student conduct and accountability. These policies are what keep our environment safe and exemplary.
I would like to thank you in advance for your active involvement and contributions towards the events that greatly benefit our school community. We are a family, and it is essential that we support each other and conduct ourselves in a unified manner that lends itself to achieve the one goal that binds us: the academic, spiritual and emotional advancement of our children.
