Anna Courtis was born in Newark, NJ and attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School before moving to Roselle Park, NJ where she attended school. After graduating high school Mrs. Courtis attended Roberts-Walsh School of Court Stenography. She became employed by the Port Authority and Conrail as a Stenographer for hearings and held several executive positions during her employment.
She married her husband, John, in l989 and they share four beautiful children together. Her biggest joy in life is spending as much time as she can embracing her three precious grandchildren.
Mrs. Courtis worked as a teacher assistant in 2008 for St. Teresa of Avila in Summit, NJ where she attended professional development courses in childhood education and she discovered her true love and passion was working with children. Her love for the beach relocated her family to W. Long Branch, NJ in 2015 and has been employed by St. Ambrose since September of 2016.
Mrs. Courtis feels blessed that her love for her faith, family and children enabled her to be in a Catholic and loving environment daily.
