Lee Ann Bocanegra was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Good Shepherd Roman Catholic School, St. Edmund High School, and Saint John’s University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She was a long time employee of Citibank, NA and Depository Trust Company holding positions as Financial/Contract Analyst and Asset Manager. She also worked for seven years at the Middlesex County Educational Services Commission before becoming the office manager at St. Ambrose School in July, 2012.

Mrs. Bocanegra has been a member of St. Ambrose Parish since moving to Old Bridge in 1992. Her three children, Jessica, Brian, and Erica, are all graduates of St. Ambrose School., and Bishop George Ahr High School. Mrs. Bocanegra has served in many capacities within the school and parish. She was an active HSA board member from 1999-2006, including president from 2001-2004. She has proudly served on the Parish Finance Council since its inception in 2005. She feels especially blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school and parish.
